Why I need Manual Handling Training?

Lifting or moving to light or heavy objects can hurt our body. If we don't lift correctly, extra strain can be put on areas of the body that can't cope with the load. It is very important to learn and understand how to handle heavy objects. We need to make habits for ourselves to use proper techniques into daily practice. Manual Handling helps a workforce to understand better their body about the work they perform. Around one-third of all workplace injuries in Australia occur during manual handling activities. Yes, many of these injuries could have been avoided with good preventative interventions. Job specific training is one of those interventions. By providing your employees with the knowledge and skills to identify their potential hazards and know how to take appropriate measures to reduce the risk, you can prevent injuries and reduce monetarily and productivity losses.
